hello!
Welcome to my website -- I am a piano teacher, accompanist, and Alexander Technique teacher in the Cincinnati area. This site is for those who want information on piano playing, the Alexander Technique, or a combination of both.
about me
My name is Minsun Park. I teach piano at the Indian Springs Academy of Music in West Chester, Ohio, and am on the piano faculty at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Kentucky. I am presently a staff accompanist for NKU, mainly for the NKU Opera program. I also teach private Alexander Technique lessons in the Cincinnati area.
I have a D.M.A. in Collaborative Piano and an M.M. in Piano Performance from Boston University, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of New Mexico. I am a graduate of the Alexander Technique of Cincinnati teacher training program, an AmSAT-certified program which requires 1600 hours of study over the period of three years. I am a member of MTNA, the Ohio Music Teachers Association, and the American Society for the Alexander Technique (AmSAT).
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, bothering my cat, and amateur computer programming.
